About Me
I retired from the US Air Force in 1986 and went to work for Intel Corporation two weeks later. I had been following Intel's growth ever since they first approached me ten years earlier (1976) when I was in college. I had been a goal of mine to work for them someday and that someday came in 1986! I started off in microcontroller design with the 8031/51 and worked my way up to Pentium-based motherboard design during my 12 years there. The projects I worked on took me from Washington DC (government subcontracting) to Chandler, AZ to Santa Clara and finally Hillsboro, OR. I enjoyed every minute I worked at Intel. Each day was a new adventure just to get up and go to work! Thank you Intel for a magnificent 11 years!
