I just discovered your website and I would like to congratulate you with this really amazing looking website. The contents is excellent and very complete. Great work ! I was an application engineer at Intel many years ago (1981 - 1986) and I recognize most of the stuff that I have been working on.
I have a question for you.
I happen to have some vintage Intel chips, but one of them is completely unknown to me and I cannot find any information on this one. Can you help ?
The part number is: A80C452P(ES)
It is housed in a ceramic pin grid array package and it is produced in Malaysia. Date code: 8642.
On the top side of the package there is a 32 pads footprint to solder another chip to it.
Simon Gray says...Hi,
I have a number of these Intel data sheets/books and I remember how useful and instructive they were (and are). To see that you have put so much effort into preserving and putting online this information is pleasing and humbling. Thank you for your website and what you are doing. Simon

I was an Intel salesman and have this board...I have lots of docs, serial monitor, chess PROMs but no keyboard monitors. Do you have the BIN files for them to fit in 2716s? I can scan, copy eproms, anything to help you if you can help me. Thanks, Dave
